Objectives of Discovery Survival courses :

For a discovery and a first "comfort" step towards the world of survival in the middle of nature, the survival discovery course is offered all year round for groups (including in winter) and every Wednesday in July and August
Winter survival day
The mountains in winter aren’t just about skiing! There are so many ways to discover and enjoy this environment 😉
Accessible to everyone, including the youngest, the winter survival initiation day will be an opportunity to cover the basic principles of surviving in the wilderness during winter (shelter, fire workshop, finding and filtering water, navigation, staying warm, etc.) and to experience the joys of snowshoeing, often overlooked or unfairly seen in a negative light!
On the program:
The basic principles of survival (knowing your needs and limits, prioritizing and meeting them, backpack and gear, the 5 Cs, etc.)
Workshops: Making a fire on the snow (bring your barbecue items for an unusual cookout!)
Workshops: Essential winter survival needs
Workshops: Building winter shelters
Easy hike and discovering the joys of snowshoeing (including some sliding fun!)
Discovering the mountains in winter and observing animals through a telescope

Accessible to everyone, come and learn winter survival techniques with snowshoes. A fun and enriching day full of skills for both children and adults!

If you're tempted by a first experience in the world of survival, without spending the night outside, this course is for you! A gentle first step before taking the next step of spending the night outdoors 😉
Accessible to everyone, including the youngest, the 1-day 'Introduction' survival discovery course will be an opportunity to cover the basic principles of survival in the wild (shelter, fire workshop, finding and filtering water, etc.)
